Resource-Based View (RBV)

The Resource-Based View (Barney, 1991) tries to explore the link between the firm-level resources (assets and capabilities) and sustainable competitive advantage.

These strengths include “all assets, capabilities, organisational processes, firm attributes, information, knowledge, et cetera controlled by a firm that enable the firm to conceive of and implement strategies which improves its efficiency and effectiveness” (Barney 1991).
